ULTRAFILTRATION AND REVERSE OSMOSIS
The newest technology for clarifying, concentrating separation of pollutants, or diluted substances, recoverable or undesiderable, organics and inorganics, in several uses.
Mobile plant for testing and working process definition in industrial waste waters.
The unit has been designed to work in different conditions (UR, nano filtration, RO) both continuously and in batch (with tanks), analysing various parameters in all the steps of the process.
UF unit working in a cheese production process. In a single stage pass it concentrates milk, dividing it from the most aqueous part of whey (lactose and salts) retaining fats and proteins. In this case for Egypt, beside to the savings to have due to the volume reduction, the goal was to minimize salt content in the produced cheese. The unit can work both continuously and in the batch, with 2 mc/h feed and concentration ratio up to 75%.
Normally or completely automatically with a PLC.
This unit for brackish well water has two pre treatment stages (sand filter and physical-chemical) and a RO pass, designed to produce 8 mc/h of potable water with a feed of 16 mc/h. It is completely automatic, with control on working parameters and chemicals dosing. Capacity: feed 16 mc/h, permeate 8 mc/h; brine 8 mc/h
In this unit milk contained in rinse waters in a dairy is recovered. The two divided streams are water (permeate) which may be sent to the existing biological WWTP, discharged or recycled for special use and organism part (concentrate with fats and proteins9 to be used as animal food or others kind of recovery.
This unit has been designed to produce potable water from surface water (lake, river) removing color, turbidity, bacteria and microorganism.
The UF system has been installed inside a container together with a diesel power unit. To be used as natural disasters emergency unit.
Sold to a Norwegian company but with Chinese Army as end user.
Twin RO unit to produce demineralized water and to treat waste water in a aluminium anodization process. The first section produces water at 5 μS/cm from well water, for the final washing tank.
The second purifies and recycles water coming from the various washing tanks.
The two sections, both with a PLC can work separately or together.
In this process, rinse waters from a stainless steel etching process (with small capacity), the same unit is used for the two different purpose. Beside separating pollutants reducing the volume of waste to be disposed, recycle permeate as side effect quality of final product has been improved, not having any more stains due to salts in tap water.
After the production period, the same unit, with working parameters changed by a PLC, produces enough demineralized water to fill the washing tanks for the next working period, filtering tap water.
Water coming from a frozen fish defrosting process is sent to a UF unit. Concentrate is all the organic part, while water and NaCl, permeate, are recycled.
Besides volume reduction of waste, water recycling there is also the recovery of salt used in the process, which had to be added to tap water.
This unit has been assembled on a trailer to be used in two public landfills.
The process is one chemical-physical unit (it could be UF), followed by two stages RO, due to the high concentration of pollutants.
Completely automatic with PLC, to discharge in surface water.
